A House For All Seasons And Reasons

Back in the pit
May 18, 2003

It's been almost a month since my last entry, some of which is my fault and some my servers. Let me bring you up to speed.
Pam went to Conn. during the first week of May, then came home for a week then back of to NY.
During her absence I kept busy between the garden and flower beds and the birds, dogs, and cats. I took time to go to Mom's and clean-up some limbs from a storm that blew through., and was going to make copies of the floor plans when I realized I had made a mistake in the overall size and the whole thing would have to be redrawn.
With Pam back home we spent one evening pulling weeds from the garden. I ttok the time to go see our county extention agent. I have several trees that have some problem I don't understand. The affected trees ( plum, pear, and apricot) leaves had started to yellow and after appling ironite and they still showed no improvement, I took Lyle some leaf sample to be tested.
I took the Oak and Mesquite logs in to the local saw mill, where they will be slabbed into 3/4' stock that I later use for facing-out the built-ins in the house.
Oh yea........ I was drawing the house plans and heard this heavy thud in the livingroom. When I went out to investigate I found this -Yellow-billed Cuckoo
