Throwingcards.com I am working on

Throwingcards.com
I am working on a new web project: a site that gives tarot readings. It was Will's idea, but the way that we are doing it is that I will own and produce the site and he is going to provide the text for the readings and a schema for a database that will generate the readings in exchange for a percentage of each reading. I am hiring Christiane to do the backend stuff that will make it work. I am very excited about it - hoping that it might generate some income and allow me to work from home. I hope to have it launched by June.

Sounds very exciting! I have always enjoyed it when you gave me tarot readings. Be sure and have a 'legal' person review the wording you use on the sight. People are lawsuit crazy! Buddy and I want to be the first to use it!!Love, Mom

If you can incorporate the beautiful cards that Will uses so that the user can download and/or print their card, that might be a way to promote the sight.Love, Mom

I always thought a tarot deck using characters from "Grateful Dead" songs would be a kick--and alot of workInstead of wands, cups etc. how about ticks, ladybugs, chickens, dogs, etc ?

This is a brilliant idea. While I was in Hawaii, we had a celestial evening on the beach at Waikiki for our group. It was a themed event, very well done. The Board members were presented with certificates, from some bonafide astronomy group that identified a star which was named after the person receiving the certificate. Then, out on the lawn, overlooking the ocean, powerful telescopes were set up and they could find their star. There was also a palm reader, a tarot card reader and a chinese stick man. You shake a container of sticks until a stick falls out and then the numbers on the stick are read by the Chinese stick man. I did palm and stick. I was very impressed with the palm reader, but the Chinese stick man was not very good. Love, Kay

The phrase "Chinese Stick Man" is blowing my mind. Were the sticks Chinese or the Man? Was he a stick man? I'm thinking that it was actually I-Ching
